Dec 15, 2025I was referred to Dr. Bonakdar for laser resurfacing. During my consult she explained the laser options or “packages”. She seemed competent, patient, and had a pleasant demeanor and sense of humor. Since a different amount of down time was required for the two viable laser options, we decided I would look at my calendar and call in to schedule the option that bets fit my schedule. There is a $200.00 consult fee for this visit which can go towards a same day procedure. She suggested botox with a recommended amount totaling $600.00. I agreed to botox but didn’t want the recommended amount for fear of a frozen face and the cost was more than I wanted to spend. She politely agreed and administered less. Upon checkout, I was charged for the entire amount although it was not given. There was a lot of confusing explanation about the cost; “it was still discounted but there was a tiered price and I opted for less”. I had to get back to work for a meeting and didn’t have time to decode the explanation so I simply paid but left feeling uneasy about the experience.
