Tuan Tran, Dr

I have had rheumatoid arthritis for 10 years since I was in Vietnam. This has led to three fingers on my left hand being deformed. I was introduced by a person who was a patient of Dr. Tuan A Tran. I went to his office with the desire to have plastic surgery so that the fingers can be straightened only. I had surgery on 8/9/2021 to replace the interphalangeal joint in my left index and middle finger and boutonnieres correction in ring finger. Two weeks after surgery, the wounds were still open and the fingers were still swollen. I was very worried but I understand wounds take time to heal.
I did not eat foods like beef, sticky rice, or seafood to prevent my wounds from becoming itchy, red and leaving keloid scars. I cleaned the wounds as directed by the doctor every day until the wounds were completely healed, about two months, and combined with regular hand exercises.
I'm happy with my hand right now. My fingers not only straightened, but I could type or hold things. Looking at the scars, I can feel that the doctor has carefully considered when operating so my scars can look so faint.
I can understand the doctor's job is always busy with exams and surgeries, which are stressful and responsible, so he looks strict. I sympathize with him. He always puts work efficiency first.
I am very grateful to Dr. Tuan A Tran for giving me a hand that to me is not only beautiful but also can work. Thank you to his staff for being friendly, willing to answer, and supporting me by phone or when I come to his office.
