Dr. Klapper and Dr. Bacorn are leaders in the field of ophthalmology and are fellowship-trained ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgeons. They each have published numerous articles in the highly specialized field of oculofacial surgery. Dr. Klapper is also a scientific reviewer for numerous peer-reviewed medical journals. Dr. Klapper is a past-President of the Indiana Academy of Ophthalmology and of the prestigious American Eye Study Club and is an active member of both the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeons and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
